Peer Ambassador Workshops

OPHD staff and our Student Ambassadors are available to work with your class or group.  We provide interactive workshops on a variety of topics, including bystander intervention, consent education, healthy relationships, policy and procedure overview, and more.

Workshops include:

  • Consent and Bystander Intervention 101
    • Learn more about the resources at SSU, and how you can be an Active Seawolf
  • Transform It for Community - Bystander Intervention Card Game (T.I.C)
    • “Transform It is a group based game where players take turns providing scenarios in which a bystander intervention may be necessary and the players submit the most appropriate response they see to it.”
  • What Would You Do? Dating Game (W.W.Y.D)
    • “What Would You Do? Is a collection of scenes from life in and around relationships. Players use the prompts provided to stoke their own creativity in figuring out how to navigate the world of relationships”
  •  Decoding Dating: Green, Yellow, & Red Flags Game (D.D).
    • “Decoding Dating tests your intuition and observation as you read through 60 dating scenario cards and decide if your partner's actions give you a positive Green flag, a negative Red flag, or a more neutral Yellow flag.”
  • Relationships: What Do You Think? (W.D.Y.T)
    • “What Do You Think? Asks players to consider the kinds of things they themselves want out of a relationship, the kind of person they want to spend time with, and their own role in all of it.”
  • Sexual Assault Survivor Barriers Activity (S.B.A)
    • “The Sexual Assault Survivor Barriers Activity shines light on factors that can keep people in unhealthy relationships, helping players to better understand intersectionality in this complex topic”
